HOW IT WORKS
We will fund, build and operate the dedicated solar energy plant so it is delivering green power directly to your organisation in as little as 6 months.
The electricity Generator supplies green power from a solar array – roof and/or ground mounted – directly to an End User for consumption via a dedicated energy source, rather than via the licensed grid networks.
Both Generator and End User enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) which details the commercial terms of the sale of the power.
The export of any surplus energy not consumed on site will be managed by us.
Typically, the PPA runs between 15-25 years. We will fund, build and operate the dedicated solar array so it is delivering green power directly to your organisation in as little as 6 months.
If the solar plant produces more energy than your property needs, it may be possible to export the surplus energy to the grid to be consumed by another of your business’s facilities.
Leasehold businesses and Landlords
If your business is a leaseholder, subject to your Landlords consent, we can install a solar system on the building to support your organisation. As the solar system positively impacts the building’s EPC rating, many Landlords are supportive of this to help fulfil increasing Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards (MEES) imposed by the government.
Self-funding vs PowerGreen PPA
Many businesses consider self-funding their own green power supply. A PowerGreen PPA offers businesses a low risk, low cost opportunity that has many advantages to self-funding. Our experienced team will take care of the process from start to finish, from securing planning permission for the solar array to construction and operation.
